In 1997, a group of local business people sat around a table at Dusty’s Cellar talking about an idea to start a business organization designed to promote the growth of businesses in Meridian Township and strengthen the relationships between the community, Township, and local business.

Today that organization is known throughout the greater Lansing area as the Meridian Area Business Association or MABA. The organization is over 200 members strong and growing everyday. MABA has become an outlet for members to network, build new relationships and to support their community.
